What really cracked me up was the phrase: “for security reasons and to avoid the abuse of this program by unscrupulous internet users.” Aren’t we lucky to have such thoughtful scammers?

It is an oldie for sure. Someone has been trying it out on me too. I kill such e-mails as soon as they arrive.

I know there are oodles of these scams out there, but I’m amazed that they seem to continue catching people. There must be a lot of gullible people online.
